Latest news for Pantommind

Not much of time has passed since Pantommind come up with their second official album "Lunasense" which also set the beginning of their professional relationship with
their new American publisher Spectastral Records.
With this album, the musicians of this already well-known Bulgarian progressive metal group showed the best qualities of virtuoso performers who work together as a mechanism of a Swiss clock.
I do not want to put the group on a pedestal just because they have released two albums and have been together already twelve years now, playing on a concerts with giants like "Halloween, Faiths Warning and others. Indeed there are many other such groups that have made even more concerts and have released more albums, but what I want to stress is the way they sound.
Music world is full of many different rock bands that sound professional or “commercial”, but how many of them can be awarded a specific sound that separates them from all others like, with such a unique musical signature that defines their identity. That is exactly what Pantommind has showed in their first official debut album "Sheid of Faith”, this unique sound with strong memorizing melody of their compositions which continue to improve in their second album "Lunasense”.
This album was expected with great impatience of the vast majority of fans from around the world including many music magazines and radio stations from Australia, Germany and the United States, especially familiar with the groups playing same music genre. As stated in a written reviews for the band: "Bulgaria will not be compared only with beautiful natural views and sunny resorts, but also as a European country which also will be known in the musical world of progressive metal with an extremely high standard of sound and performance delivered by the prog metal bands as Pantommind".
It should be said here that even with small changes in the composition of the band, Pantommind are still together now twelve years already, and especially in the creation of "Lunasens "and even without expression of bassist Dido they were able to complete a perfect album that proves that the possibilities are amazing and can be achieved with great desire and perseverance.
For this summer of 2009 the band is preparing to participate in a few festivals in Eastern Europe and also for an official concert in Sofia, where they will present their new album "Lunasense”.
Musicians are already full group with two members "Floid" Sunny Rosen and X who are back and Pantommind is now with all the original members that started this band in 1995.
The band is already in long rehearsals with effort to begin record their next album, which will be released by Spectastral Records USA on two discs and should come out at the end of 2010.
If it needs to add anything else it is that we are all witnessing the construction and the rising of a band coming from a small ex communist country in Eastern Europe (Bulgaria), with a great potential soon to be a worldwide famous progressive metal band.
Perfectprog has announced "Lunasense" as the second best progressive album of the year 2009. Congratulations to all of musicians of Pantommind and many thanks to everyone who give their vote to make this happen.
